caralee buchwald - ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE DIRECTOR, BALLET TEACHER
Caralee Buchwald has been part of the dance community for over 30 years. She discovered her love of dance at an early age and grew up as a competitive dancer in various dance forms. She is a graduate of Ryerson University’s Dance Program where she studied under Nadia Potts, Karen Duplisea and Vicki St. Denys.
She is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, and a member of the Professional Adjudicator’s Alliance. She has enjoyed teaching, choreographing and sharing her passion for dance as a ballet director, guest teacher, and children’s program coordinator for the past 15 years.
She has won several awards including highest ballet marks, choreography awards, special awards and overalls for her work. Many of her students have gone on to become performers, teachers and choreographers. Others have been accepted to Quinte Ballet School, National Ballet School of Canada, Miami City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet School, Cirque du Soleil. She is very proud of her students and their many accomplishments.
Caralee continues to enhance her professional development by attending courses, seminars and classes.
