Kendra McAnuff is a passionate teacher and dancer with a rich background in competitive dance. With 15 years of experience on stage, Kendra has developed a deep understanding of various dance styles, techniques, and performance dynamics. Her journey in dance began at the young age of 3 at Joanne Chapman School of Dance, quickly advancing through the ranks to compete at regional and national levels.
While pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Wilfrid Laurier University, Kendra dances at the university level, where she also serves as a choreographer and the co-assistant captain. This role allows her to continue honing her skills and leadership abilities while working alongside her peers. Her involvement with the dance team further enhances her teaching, providing her with fresh insights and techniques to share with her students.
Transitioning from performer to educator, Kendra now channels this extensive experience into teaching contemporary dance, focusing on helping students explore their creativity, enhance their technique, and develop their unique artistic voice. Known for her dynamic teaching style and commitment to fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment, Kendra inspires dancers of all ages to push their boundaries and discover the joy of movement.
