Can I watch my child’s dance class?

Yes, we display live feed video screens from each dance studio to our front lobby to watch your child's dance class.

Do you have a dress code?

Yes, we do have a list of Uniform Requirements for our Youth Program Classes and Exclusive Program Classes. There are no uniform requirements for our Summer Programs. Dancers should come to class dressed in the appropriate dance wear, with neat and tidy hair. Buns are to be worn for ballet class. Uniform Requirements are available at The Dancewear Boutique located at IN.MOTION Dance School.

What is expected of dancers?

Arrive on time and ready to dance!
Wear your correct uniform
Follow all studio rules
Respect fellow classmates, teachers and facility
Pick up after yourselves
Have fun!

Are you open during Holidays?

No, we are closed for most if not all statutory holidays (similar to WRDSB). For specific dates please refer to our List of Important Dates.

How do I register?

How do I know which class(es) to choose for my child?

Our studio offers a variety of classes based on your dancer’s age, experience and interest.

We offer both Youth Recreational dance classes, Competitive Exclusive Programs and Pre Competitive Programs. The genres available are Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Acro, Contemporary/Lyrical, Irish and Pointe.

How long do classes run for?

Classes run from September to June. IN.MOTION also offers a 6-Week Summer Session, Summer Dance Camps and Summer Intensives!

What are my payment options?

Payments can be made in full or with monthly payments via Direct Withdrawal.

Multiple class and family discounts are available. No registration fees!

We have Drop In and Class Card options available for our Adult Dancers.

Where are you located?

IN.MOTION has recently moved to a NEW facility.

We are located at 637 Victoria Street North, Kitchener.

IN.MOTION showcases a beautiful, spacious and well maintained facility featuring 6 well equipped studios, with professionally sprung floors and full length mirrors. Ample parking is available onsite.

How old do you have to be to take a class?

Our Kinder program students can start classes at the age of 2! Youth Recreational and Competitive Exclusive Programs are available for students ages 5 to 18. We offer Adult classes for anyone ages 18+.

Does IN.MOTION have a Recital?

Yes! We host a Year End Show in June for family and friends to watch your child’s routines and to celebrate your dancer’s hard work all year!

Are fundraisers available?

Optional fundraisers are available for our families. Any funds raised go directly towards your child’s dance classes.
