Jett Owens Hughes fell in love with performing at the age of 2 when he took his very first dance class. He has trained extensively in Tap, Hip Hop, Acro, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical and Ballet, joining the IN.MOTION Dance School family at the age of 13. He is a recent graduate of IMD and is thrilled to be continuing his dance journey teaching at IN.MOTION!

Jett has travelled across North America with his competitive dancing. He has been honoured, being recognized as a National Title winner at several competitions including Dance Canada, Headliners and Starpower, along with many overall and special awards.

Jett was also a member of Team Canada tap, travelling and competing in Germany in 2019. He also performed across Ontario as the Nutcracker prince in Ballet Jorgen’s Nutcracker: A Canadian tradition.

Over the years Jett has become a well-rounded performer and credits include; Drayton Entertainment youth chorus (Honk, Jack and the Beanstalk and The Little Mermaid), Luckiest Girl alive (dancer), as well as National Famous Footwear and Rogers Media commercials.

When he isn’t dancing Jett enjoys his role as Spidey Guy, with Storybook Events, as an event performer. He loves magic, spending time with family and friends and playing music on his keyboard.

Jett is attending Conestoga College in the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees. Jett is looking forward to continuing to grow as a dancer and share his love of dance with the dancers at IN.MOTION, helping students reach their full potential and grow as performers!
